The Galaxy Nexus according to Samsung is the first phone to have Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich” system on it (ice cream sandwich really ? come on guys you can do better that that). So initial thoughts, on the aesthetic front its an interesting design nothing fancy, basically its thicker at the base than at the top not bad just different. The only drawback its a tad too big for more liking but its a personal thing and does not hamper the overall look or feel of the phone.
Moving on its got a nice seven twenty screen with is always good especially for a smartphone.
Now we come to the screen and the camera the screen is bigger than Iphone 4s but the to cut a long story short the resolution is slightly less than the 4s its small enough to make no odds its just a specification thing it still looks great when playing videos and that’s what counts.

The camera oh dear the camera well its pretty good and can take pictures and record video in HD however if you have used or owned an Iphone 4s you will notice certain differences and they are noticeable. The quality does not match the apple device but and here’s the thing the picture are processed quicker so its a trade off basically speed for quality. So far so good for the verizon Samsung cell phones but what really gives the phone the edge is of cause is the OS Android 4.0. The new system has removed most of the need to get or download apps form third party service as it comes with its own built in apps such a s download monitor for 3g. Now my favourite the Facial Recognition Unlock tool, loves this except that I don’t think the engineers missed out a key issue why I cant just use a photograph, never mind I still think it cool.
